2005 started as Kindergarten in a rented place at B.I.T premises with help from local dignitaries, to cater to the Santhals, a tribe in Katwa, under the initiative of Rev Fr Lawrence Pinto, the then Priest-in-Charge of Mother Teresa Ashram, Dak Bangla

2007 shifted to newly-constructed building aided by the Austrian friends of Fr Lawrence Pinto, local donors and Catholic Diocese of Asansol

Recognized by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions [F.No. 451 of 2007] as a Minority InstitutionAffiliated to Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination, New Delhi
